FITZ CAMP offers a unique camping experience that combines comfort and adventure. Guests arrive to a fully set up tent site where they can enjoy breathtaking views and surroundings as well as a full meal. Every detail is thought out to make your stay memorable.

Dining in the Main Dome
3 course meal: Includes a hot starter, a main course that can be selected between beef, chicken, vegetarian as well as gluten free, desert, coffee, and drinks (water, juice, one glass of wine per person). Additional drinks can be bought at the site.
Full breakfast: Includes a variety of products such as scrambled eggs, jams, breads, etc. -
Welcome and Early Birds
Welcome: When you arrive, you are offered a hot drink.
Early birds: For those who want to go hiking before breakfast, thermos with coffee and cookies are available. -
Staying in Our Igloo Tents
Comfort: High mountains igloo tents already set up that include sleeping bag, sleeping pad and pillow. Available on single or double basis.

Living area: Multipurpose dome for relaxing, sharing or playing one of our games.
Bathroom: Dry latrine that are used in remote areas of the National Park.
Things to keep in mind: No electricity, cell phone reception, internet connectivity or showers given its remote location.
Where is FITZ CAMP located?
Fitz Camp is located at the footsteps of the Fitz Roy Massif, 7.5 km from El Chaltén on the trail that takes you from town to Laguna de Los Tres, 500 meters before Poincenot, the free unorganized campsite of the National Park.
Between the town of El Chaltén and Poincenot, the trail has 8 stages which are numbered in increasing order.
Between stages 7 and 8, you will find the detour into Fitz Camp. This detour is marked with a sign that shows "PRESTADORES DE SERVICIOS" (service providers), given that FITZ CAMP is a project promoted by service providers of Los Glaciares National Park.
As a point of reference, you will find the sign 3 meters before (if you come from town) a small wooden bridge with two wooden railings, which shows a sign that says "ONLY ONE" (it should be used by one person at a time).
GETTING TO FITZ CAMP
You have two different trails to get to FITZ CAMP. Both options are only available for hiking.

Cancellation Policies:
- If cancelled outside of 7 days before the check-in date, there is a full refund.
- If cancelled less than 7 days before the check-in date, the booking will be fully charged.
- In the event that services provided to clients of Receptivo Chalten by third parties are cancelled or result in a no-show for any reason, the cancellation/return policies will adjust to the cancellation/return policies of the service provider. The same criteria will be applied for discounts.
Operations
From November 1st until March 31st
Important:
- Not recommended for people with reduced mobility. Participants must be in adequate physical condition to perform aerobic activities.
- This experience does not include a mountain guide; it is a self-guided activity. A private guide can be booked if desired.
